ROMAGNA ULF ELF VLF
MONITORING STATIONS ELECTRIC FIELD - Live data from Fiumicino-Gatteo(FC). MAGNETIC FIELD - Live data from Sogliano al Rubicone(FC). SEISMIC SENSOR - Live data from Sogliano al Rubicone(FC). AIR-Q STATION - Live data from Sant'Angelo di Gatteo(FC). ITALY-SOUTHERN EUROPE. |
The purpose of these stations is the observation
and recording of the phenomena in the electric and
magnetic components in the VLF, ELF and ULF frequency
bands . The stations are part of a network of
observatories development in the country, which was
founded by Renato Romero commitment with the help of
willing members. The contents illustrate the
possible electromagnetic emissions of natural and
anthropic origin in the frequency bands in question, that
exhaustively explained in www.vlf.it.

The installation of an induction coil is not easy, you need to find a place as far as possible from sources of articial electromagnetic noise that may saturate the high sensitivity of the device. A satisfactory compromise has been identified in the municipality of Sogliano al Rubicone (FC) in the Romagna hills between the Savio, Uso and Marecchia Valleys. Magnetic field: Induction coil ECS101
Here below the LIVE spectrogram, updated every 60 minutes. It shows the last 8 hours ULF activity, as received by induction coil (magnetic component), from 0.1 to 37 Hz. Bottom part is zooming in the 0.1 to 4 Hz range. FFT resolution 10,5 mHz, scroll time 40 seconds. ![]() Magnetic field MULTISTRIP DAILY representation, useful for comparing status day by day. (To see on google map click this 43,93°N, 12,23°E)![]() The system is currently under test and so composed: a sensor consisting of two horizontal geophones at 4.5Hz, positioned orthogonally with each other, whose signals are processed via FFT with a colour direction finder algorithm. This setup permits to define the earthquake source-receiving direction at the geophone frequency response. SDF(Seismic Direction Finder) Spectrogram Seismic Data Here below the LIVE spectrogram, updated every 5 minutes. It shows the last 15 minutes seismic activity, as received by geophones, from 0.5 to 25 Hz. FFT resolution 84 mHz. Scroll time 1.486 seconds. ![]() Geophones Multistrip hourly representation, useful for local seismic events correlation. scroll time 4.458 sec. pdated every 5 minutes: ![]() AIR QUALITY STATION- Sant'Angelo di Gatteo (FC), Italy.
